Kayser Sohn, though it is not stamped with a makers mark. The back of the plaque is stamped with 331. The design is very typical of the art nouveau period with a high relief deer or doe amongst foliage and around the outside an oval shaped pretty garland feature. The rear of the plaque has a ring to attach it to a wall. The overall condition is good without any plate loss. The german’Kayserzinn Pewter’ was exhibited all over the world has been exhibited in numerous art galleries due to the fine workmanship and almost handmade looking technique used to hand press the pewter moulds.
